We will be showcasing our program Reading for Life, and discussing how other libraries can take part in the program. Reading for Life is a movement of the imagination with the purpose of growing community around a shared love of literature. The idea is that real community begins and ends with our imaginations, and few resources, if any, are as vital to the imagination's development as works of literature. Our presentation will discuss how this idea came about, how we promoted it to the community, our podcast and lecture series, outreach, and what we are doing to continue this project.
